Question by Desert: I would like to start internet business and make extra money: How?
would like to start internet business (I spend so much time on the www I might as well use this opportunity to supplement my income) and extra money: Only How? I would like to see if that is possible to get get a investor (sponser) to start. How much can one make if you work 5 hours a day and what is best to do?
Your help will be very much appreciated.

You have so much to learn. Just don’t expect it to happen by next Monday morning, so keep your day job…at least for now.
To educate yourself, you need to sign up for every newsletter you can find on the subject. Once you start to get a handle on things, you can opt out of the ones you have no use for.
Read articles every chance you get. Study, hard work and time is what every business takes. Stick to it and you can make it happen.

You could create your own website with photos of yourself on it, depending how hot you are you could make heaps.
Any successful business is all about creating value. What can you offer over the Internet that someone will pay for? How will you be different? Is there an unmet need?
I’d start with educating yourself…look at what other people are doing, research it and then start thinking of other opportunities…you’ll find them.
Presuming you have a specific interest, other then just the “web”, you can monetize (generate money with your interest) this the easiest on the Internet.
There are two major categories you can make money on the ‘net. You can sell a product or service, or you can sell space for advertisement.
Both requires “eyeballs” or individuals visiting your site.
Your product or service, can be anything. It could be a tangible asset (something you can hold like a pencil), intengible (such as a software, or article, or electronic book), or a service (such as translation, or proof-reading).
These products and services will require you to set up, in essence a store front.
You will need to advertise your site on other web sites, and various other methods to drive more and more people to see, or visit your web site. A certain percentage will buy your product.
The other side, is of course selling advertising space on your web site. Your commodity is traffic. The person from the previous example needs people visiting their site, and you have people visiting your site, but no products. So you put an advertisement of the first person’s site on your site – and they pay you a type of comission. Depending on the agreement, it could be making money when a visitor to your site sees the advertisement, clicks on the advertisement, or when the visitor following the advertisement purchases the product or service from the other web site.
As you can see, both sides of the ‘net business model depends on “traffic”.

Go for the internet business, which requires less of your time and the one that will not make you feel headache with web designing, or which require IT knowledge. Second, choose the internet based company which offer you the opportunity and at the same time giving you the convenience to start the business. Third, choose the business, which does not require big money to start it.
