Any tips on saving money during a major move?
We are preparing to go 200 miles a few weeks, but worried about being tied with all costs. We only had to pay rent for our current house, they must leave the deposit, the deposit of animals and first month’s rent at the new place, deposit services, food, cleaning supplies, etc., without forgetting the gas is so high nowadays. And all our bills due to the current location. We believe it will take about 4 trips, with a loaded trailer to get all our affairs. Tips to save money would be greatly appreciated.

Try to get as many family and friends that are willing to help you. It’s quite a drive, but maybe you could have them stay overnight in your house, and then cook dinner for them all? I know whenever my parents have family help out, they really appreciate it if my mom cooks dinner for everyone.
try a U-Haul
if you could rent a very large truck you could possibly make the entire move in one trip? this is what i did from florida to boston. i hauled my truck on the back.
