There are a lot of people who would like to know how to make money with internet marketing, and that’s why a quick Google search for home based business opportunities or internet marketing can produce hundreds of millions of results, because that many people are curious about it. The answer that people are looking for is probably not the answer that they really want to hear, because many folks are looking to get rich quick and don’t want to spend much money in the process. And there is a way to do that: it’s called the lottery.

Let’s face it, the reason so few people end up earning money on the internet, or at least any big money, is because they fail to understand that there must be an investment of time, money, and training in order to master the internet and all it has to offer. Too many people are looking to just sign up with any company, get a website, and then they expect the checks to just roll in. Well, that’s not the way it works despite all the advertisements that give this ridiculous impression.

Learning internet marketing is not hard, but it’s sure not easy either. It does take desire to accomplish something, there is money involved, it always takes patience, and there has to be some training involved as well. Whenever beginners decide to get into working from home in online marketing, they need to realize that thinking about the money is the last thing that should enter their mind. Any beginner who is just focused on the money spent or the money earned as they enter the business, well, that person will be an instant failure.

When learning how to make money with internet marketing, the three things you need are training, tools, and patience. The failure rate for online marketing is about 95%, and the single biggest reason for that is people just get frustrated and quit, and the reason that they get frustrated is because they never took the time to get training. Go ahead, and jump into the business of network marketing, but if you want to succeed, pay for some training first, because in the end it will save you time, money, and frustration.

There are thousands of internet marketing products and programs online. The question is what really works. A lot of multilevel marketing businesses do not succeed because they fair in the two key areas where most businesses fail. There are several examples of business’ that succeed and its all due to the two key areas that make businesses succeed. If you can be consistent with the business and have the right tools, your business can make money with internet marketing.

Why do some multilevel marketing business do not succeed in making money online via internet marketing? Here are the two areas where multilevel internet marketing or any business for that matter does not succeed:

Knowing how to get customers

Having a system to not only get the customer but keep them coming back for more.

Example: Name any fast food eatery, especially those who have the famous menu. Now think about it, how healthy is anything from that menu that only cost ? Now I am not saying to have a lousy product and that your business will succeed. What I am saying is that the key to any product and or service is the level of marketing and the system to support that level of marketing. If you have the marketing in place to get the customers and the system in place to service the need when you created the demand for that product and or service, then you are part of that elite group that will make a lot of money with your business.

Do not underestimate the power of using Ebay to generate lists of like minded potential customers. By selling information products dirt cheap on Ebay you can slowly but surely build a list that will be very interested in what you have to offer in the future.

On of the things I like to employ is Google Adwords. I use Google Adwords in a different way than most people do. I go after placements rather than keywords. It’s like going in through the back door. By having my ads on websites and not on the Google Search engines, I take advantage of those out there that prefer to visit sites direct.

When it comes to mathematical formulas I am not a genius, but even I could understand the easy way anyone can make money combining internet marketing and network marketing. So like my algebra teacher used to do let’s break it down to it’s simplest form.

Internet Marketing is the use of the Internet to advertise and sell goods and services. Network marketing is a business model in which a distributor network is needed to build the business.

Combining the two gives you an excellent opportunity to make money online thru the efforts of yourself and the efforts of others. How exactly do you do that?

First of all every product sold online needs a website or email marketing campaign to promote it’s offer. A direct selling website means that every aspect of making the sale is done for you. The presentation, benefits and features, collecting the money, shipping, and follow-up can all be done right on your direct selling website.

In an email marketing campaign you can make a sale by delivering an email message directly to your prospects email account. The biggest benefit of this is you can contact thousands of people almost instantly with an offer you want to promote.

The single most powerful benefit of network marketing is a concept know as duplication. Getting paid on the efforts of others eliminates the need for you to work countless hours trying to do more than is humanly possible. This allows people who only have a few hours a week to work to make large amounts of money because you may only have 15 hours a week to work, but through you network of individuals you will have some people who can work 30 hours a week or more. When you duplicate this process over and over you can have thousands of people working thousands of hours helping you make more money.

Combing the power internet marketing with network marketing is easily accomplished when the network marketing company provides you with a direct selling website and email marketing campaign all rolled into one internet business. When they add products in demand, a profitable compensation plan, distributor training, and advertising and marketing materials, it becomes an easy way to make money that anyone anywhere in the world can do.

Does this sound to good to be true? It isn’t, but for many people it will be because it still takes work to build up your distributor network. And therein lies the rub. If it involves effort and hard work to get started this will eliminate many people from ever making money on the internet with network marketing.

Finding A Product

First search for a profitable topic. A popular topic where there are millions of needed products and services like health. A topic like this have hundreds of sub topics more commonly known as “niches”. Niches are where specific products are being sought out by specific groups of people or “niche audiences”. The idea is to find worthwhile niches and sub niches, target these audiences to sell to by using keyphrases.

Things like the latest fads or craze can easily be capitalized on. They simply seize the moment and start building campaigns around these products via PPC Advertising, classified ads, search engine marketing, articles, etc. Products can also be found at Clickbank.com to fill needs. They can even tell you if the product is worthwhile selling through their stats.

3 Very Important Principles To Follow

Before you select a product to sell be sure that the product is worth while advertising, or converts well. Choosing a product out of thin air because you think it should sell for your own reasons is not the way to find out how well a product will convert. As discussed above “niche markets” basically comes with audiences (people already searching for a specific product). Making money in internet marketing with these products will require one to first check and see just how much traffic the product receives and how popular it is, if it’s feasible, you can start building a campaign around it by targeting buyers with the use of keyphrases or words that are typed in the browser which are associated with a particular group of seekers or prospects preferably ones ready to buy.

The second principle is to solve desperate problems. anyone desperate for a solution is more apt to be motivated to convert quicker at the prompt of a solution being available. So if you find a problem that people have requested a solution for, your money is already half way in the bank, all you have to do is to find a good product or a service that solves the problem in order to seal the sale. i.e. Pre teens have a problems with blemishes and may not know of any product that would solve their problem, Do you think that if you had a product from a company, working as an affiliate, that would solve this problem that you could build a campaign around the product and make money?

The third principle is simply to be consistent with your advertising by possibly placing an ad or two daily in the free classified ads. 2 ads a day is 60 ads a month! Write articles, can’t write find a free article writing training site that you can get instruction from, you can get free PLR content and use that content to get the articles you need to promote your product, or pay a freelancer to write articles for you. whatever you do be consistent or just do something everyday towards attaining your goal of promoting your product or service. No one ever said that making money in internet marketing would be easy. But it’s the only job that I know of where you can basically start with nothing and build an empire fairly quickly.

Now Work The Plan

Find at least 3 specific longtail keyphrases relevant to the product, Just use Google’s free keyword tool at google.com and search keyphrases to use in articles. Submit articles to article directories. Top directories can give you best results such as ezine articles.com, articlesbase.com, idealmarketers.com.

Create a free keyword-rich blog (blogger or wordpress) and post articles there After your articles have been published in the directories. Be sure to create back links to original articles in directories by use of a short prompt like article originally posted at xxxx directory or just use the link: Article originally published on xxxxxx directoy. Now create a squidoo lens, in that order, blog first then lens, and link your articles back to the articles posted in the directories. Why? more backlinks means better search engine positioning, which means more traffic meaning more potential for sales. Submit articles to the rest of the article directories Link each article back to your articles on ezinearticles.com in the same way as above You can say something like: Article originally published on xxxxxx.

To make this really easy and effective, start an account at SubmitYourArticle.com because the service works great. And you’ll be able to submit articles throughout hundreds of directories from just that one source. There is however a monthly charge for this or you can do it yourself one by one. So far I’ve given you a workable plan from which you can generate a lot of cash, and mostly from free methods with the exception of the article submitter resource. After a very short while you’ll be making plenty money in internet marketing without even having a website or paying out hundreds of dollars each and every month for things that you don’t even need.
